DC is looking might colorful and creative! I like it.
So this past weekend I hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Laura. Who, at this point, everyone knows! I'm still getting all the photos from the shower in order, but I thought I'd share the invitations that Nick and I designed and had printed via overnightprints.com.
We chose an ABC theme since Laura has always loved typography, but also because she is collecting 3D letters from all over the place to create an alphabet collage on a wall in the nursery (yup, we're gonna have to see pictures of that when its done!). We chose the primary colors to keep it a little gender neutral (even though we know its a boy!), and BRIGHT colors cause, well a shower is a PARTY and it's FUN!
For an activity at the shower, we played Baby Bingo. I am not a fan of shower games in general, but I chose this one because it can be played by anyone, there is no singling people out to do wacky activities, and it keeps the gift opening interesting for showers with lots of gifts! For the bingo cards we played off the same theme:
Love,
These are adorable and so festive! You guys should start a lil business on the side!
