Nick's Summer Duds

Dear Deweese,

Your post was a lovely remedy for a gloomy Tuesday! I love the bit about the DC metro map.  It's the best when things are revamped in the right way. But yes, I agree, a reminder of the commute just minutes after waking up does not sound ideal.  Also, thank you so much for that Apartment Therapy post. I can't tell you how many times I've tried searching online for "best of Etsy lists" in hopes of finding new sellers!

Despite the gloomy/non-June weather we've had, I'd like to discuss the topic of new summer clothes! I've purchased a few summer refreshers myself, mainly in the way of shoes (PS: I bought the wedges and love them!),  but I must admit, it's Nick who has really stepped it up this season.  Much to his initial chagrin, followed by his eventual acceptance, I put together this little mood board of what has become his Saturday uniform this summer.  I'm lovin' it:

1. Hat via Goorin Bros., 2. Cuffed Jeans via J.Crew, 3. Aviators via Ray-Ban, 4. Watch via TOKYObay, 5. V-neck's via Old Navy, 6. Kicks via Payless
I really dig the cool and serene color palette of this look. Also, while these are all basic items, I like how they have some nice attention to detail (cuffing of the jeans, touch of teal in the hat). An added bonus is that most of these items are really affordable!

In other male stylin' news, did you happen to see these little boy outfits on Say Yes to Hoboken? Too cute or too much? How about the vintage series happening right now on Sartorialist? As a vintage photo addict, I can't get enough of these!

  1. Thanks for the little boy outfit link - my little guy is so skinny, I love the tip to look for clothes in the girls dept!

  2. Absolutely! Anything for little man! It seems this blogger has lots of tips for dressing her boys:
