Retail Therapy Update...

I have to say I'm shocked. I did not expect your bedroom decor to go into the direction of... color? Alas, you know I'm thrilled and adore this combo. The coral and emerald board from Snippet & Ink was among the top contenders for our wedding. Obsessed. It makes me think of a giant magnolia tree on a summer evening. I still love the white with the oriental rug, I really think you can't go wrong either way. And, as we always say, the great thing about having a white pallet is that you can change it up pretty easily by switching in other colors. DO IT! Side note, Nicky really out-did himself. Too sweet!

In other news... I keep forgetting to update you on my most recent purchases!

From Crate & Barrel: I decided to try my hand at napkin rings. We never used them growing up, but they are always so enticing at the store! I couldn't decide which style I wanted, so I got four different silver rings.

I also picked up this amazing placemat. Yes, I said amazing placemat. Like, I want to frame it and put it on my wall, amazing. I got the green, but they come in blue also. I only bought one, and am using it under the center piece (dying spider plant) on our kitchen table. Check out these and these too. I love all things die-cut and think they would be great layered with other linens.

At Anthro I got these sunglasses, as my Ray-Bans broke and I needed a quick and cheap replacement to hold me over until I drag myself to the Sunglass Hut to see what they can do for me. I also got this great skirt on sale. It's suuuuper pretty and the lines are really flattering. My Mom was laughing because she swears she had the same skirt in 1984.

It really is amazing what you can do when you start bringing your lunch to work!
